David Chi-Kong Cheung, 21 July 1936 – 16 September 2013 was a Hong Kong educator, pastor and former member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
David Cheung studied in the Wah Yan College, Kowloon, New Method College, and Hong Kong Baptist College (today's Baptist University). He continued his study in Education Administration at the University of Kansas and religious education at Covenant Theological Seminary. David Cheung married Marjorie Hong on June 8, 1963 and they immediately returned to Hong Kong where he took teaching positions at two high schools before being named principal of the Carmel English Secondary School, a position he held for 26 years. Over the years, he founded six additional schools.
He was appointed to the Legislative Council by Governor David Wilson in 1988 and promoted education best practices and mother-tongue education. David Cheung was called in to full time ministry and was ordained in 1991. David and Marjorie went to the mission field in Europe for 8 years before moving to St. Louis, Missouri USA where he served as pastor of the Chinese Gospel Church from 1999 until his retirement.
